[Jangseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do has established a roadmap for building a safety system for spatial information.
According to the county on the 15th, it is expected that the trust in the county's public administrative services will greatly improve through systematic management of spatial information as well as strengthening the security awareness of public officials operating it.
Spatial information refers to all information related to "space" such as terrain, buildings, and artificial structures represented on maps, and with the recent development of information and communication technology, its utilization has increased, highlighting the importance of security.
The county plans to systematically operate a safety system construction roadmap consisting of four stages: ▲facility management ▲data management ▲system management ▲user mind (mind, way of thinking) management.
This year, the focus will be on mind management for internal users, conducting spatial information platform user education, aiming not only to protect and manage information but also to improve utilization capabilities.
The county is preventing data leakage by establishing a data leakage prevention system to prevent data forgery, alteration, and illegal distribution, and is operating a remote backup system to prepare for unpredictable accidents or failures.
A county official said, “As the utilization of spatial information across administration is expected to gradually expand, we will continue to make efforts for systematic management and thorough security of data.”
