[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Junsung) announced on the 15th that it will recruit 51 'Resource Management Helpers' at apartment complexes and residential area collection points to create jobs and increase the recycling rate of recyclable waste in response to the COVID-19 crisis.
The Resource Management Helpers program is supported by the Ministry of Environment's recycling quality improvement project with 90% national funding and 10% county funding. Their main duties include guiding proper separation and disposal of recyclables and conducting promotional activities. The employment period is planned to be from next month until December, a total of 7 months, deployed to apartment complexes and collection points within the county.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, residents registered in the county with verified identity, and diligent and sincere residents.
Applications can be submitted by visiting the Urban Environment Division's Living Environment Team with the project participation application form, consent form for personal information provision, and other documents by the 27th.
