Korea's First 'Luxury Collection' Hotel Debut
Pre-Booking Sales to Commemorate Opening on May 25
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Chosun Hotel & Resort announced on the 15th that the grand opening date of 'Chosun Palace Seoul Gangnam, A Luxury Collection Hotel (Chosun Palace)' has been set for the 25th of next month, and pre-booking sales to commemorate the opening will begin.
Chosun Palace is the top-tier independent brand hotel first introduced by Chosun Hotel & Resort. It carries the brand slogan "Exclusively Yours," meaning "Your Shining Moment." Additionally, it is Korea's first hotel to partner as a soft brand with Marriott International's luxury hotel brand, 'The Luxury Collection,' making it the first Luxury Collection hotel to open domestically.
Chosun Palace is located in the Centerfield West Tower in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, at the heart of Teheran-ro. It consists of a lobby-level welcome reception, banquet halls on the 3rd and 4th floors, high-floor guest rooms and dining from the 24th to 36th floors, and the Chosun Wellness Club. It features a total of 254 rooms and five gourmet collections including Constance, Itanic Garden, The Great Hongyeon, 1914 Lounge & Bar, and Chosun Deli The Boutique, a grand reception offering customized services, three banquet halls including 'The Great Hall' which can accommodate up to 300 people at once, as well as swimming pool and fitness facilities.
Chosun Palace stated, "The hotel's design was entrusted to Humbert & Poyet, a globally recognized emerging designer," and "we have also developed the hotel's signature scent 'Lasting Impression' to provide services that satisfy all five senses."
For room bedding, the Italian luxury bedding brand Frette's 'The Luxury Collection Frette Bed & Bedding Set' has been prepared. The top-tier Andrea line from Frette was applied to all rooms and all linens in the bathrooms. The mattresses are from Simmons' Beautyrest collection, specifically the 'The One' line. The highest-tier rooms, 'Chosun Masters Suite' and 'Chosun Grand Masters Suite,' feature the 'Black' line.
Amenities include BYREDO's Le Chemin line, the signature amenity of The Luxury Collection. Additionally, the minibar in each room is specialized as a private bar to enjoy cocktails and more.
Meanwhile, services suitable for the 'With Corona' era have also been introduced. An automatic UVC sterilization device has been installed in every room, which activates the ultraviolet sterilization system automatically after room cleaning. Air purification and humidification functions are also equipped with internal filters. Air dressers have been installed in all rooms. All in-room services, including check-out, can be conducted via the room's smart TV and tablet PC. Guests can also choose to use the hotel’s exclusive robot butler, 'Royal Staff Ryan,' who delivers hotel amenities and convenience store items within the hotel.
To commemorate the opening, Chosun Palace has launched the 'Royal Invitation to Chosun Palace' package. This product is available for stays from May 25 to August 31, and includes an additional BYREDO Le Chemin bathroom amenity kit (6 items) in all rooms. Families with children will also receive an additional Mustela bathroom amenity kit set.
The Royal Invitation to Chosun Palace can be booked through the official website. Prices start at 352,000 KRW (excluding 10% tax) for a state room.
