S-1 Secures All Five Major Domestic Brand and Service Quality Certifications
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] S-1 announced on the 15th that it has swept all five major brand and service quality certifications. The five major domestic brand and service quality certifications include three major service quality certifications: Korea Service Quality Index (KS-SQI), Korea Customer Satisfaction Index (KCSI), and National Customer Satisfaction Index (NCSI), as well as two brand evaluations: Korea Brand Power Index (K-BPI) and Korea Brand Star.
The survey results of the five major brand and service quality certifications revealed that consumers choose security services based on "brand" and "service quality." According to a survey by the Korea Management Association Consulting, 32.3% of respondents cited "brand" as the top priority when selecting security services. The second most cited criterion was "service quality," chosen by 23.5%. The 2021 Korea Brand Power Index (K-BPI) survey in the crime prevention security service sector also showed that 68.8% of respondents answered that "brand is an important consideration in service selection." S-1 explained that since security services provide intangible services related to safety, it is natural that brand is an important selection criterion for consumers.
Looking at the detailed indicators by which consumers evaluate security service brands, the largest criterion was found to be "brand awareness." This was followed by brand image, value, preference, and trustworthiness as evaluation criteria. The service quality evaluation indicators included sales and service staff’s attitude, prompt emergency dispatch service, reliability of security devices, courteous after-sales service (A/S), and adherence to promised times.
An S-1 official stated, "The fact that the industry’s number one company has swept all five major brand and service quality certifications confirms once again that the criteria for choosing security services lie in brand and service quality," and emphasized, "As the industry’s leading company, we will continue to lead the direction of Korea’s security industry."
