Friendly and Convenient Online Consultation Through Childcare Information Specialists 'Seongdong Childcare TALK TALK'... Continuing Seongdong as Seoul's No.1 Public Childcare Rate Area with Various Program Guides
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seongdong-gu (Mayor Jeong Won-oh) has launched the operation of ‘Seongdong Yugae Talk Talk’ from April, a service where various childcare information such as pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare can be consulted all at once.
‘Seongdong Yugae Talk Talk’ is a service that integrates and consults scattered childcare information, allowing users to easily obtain necessary information such as childcare with just one phone call.
In particular, instead of existing documented guides, the vast information related to pregnancy and childcare is provided through the nurturing of friendly childcare professional counselors, enabling warm administration for pregnant women and families with infants and young children.
The district noticed that although various supports for pregnant women and childcare, such as the Happy Childbirth One-Stop Service and childbirth congratulatory supplies support, are being provided, it was not easy for recipients to grasp the project information provided by each institution or department. Therefore, a single window was opened to provide guidance at once, and childcare information tailored to Seongdong-gu’s own projects and regional characteristics will also be provided.
Also, after a pilot operation until the 11th of this month, the official service will be posted from the 12th, with a Q&A corner on the bulletin board opened, enabling both online and offline consultations.
Through the ‘Seongdong I-mom Health Center’ opened in 2019, the district has provided professional and systematic one-stop services from pregnancy preparation to childbirth and childcare. Since June last year, it has received high responses from young couples as a city good for childcare, ranking first among 25 autonomous districts in Seoul with a 63.2% utilization rate of national and public daycare centers, along with various support projects such as the pregnancy housekeeping care service, the first to be implemented by a Seoul autonomous district.
‘Seongdong Yugae Talk Talk’ can be used through the bulletin board and consultation phone on the Childcare Comprehensive Support Center website.
Jeong Won-oh, Mayor of Seongdong-gu, said, “From now on, users will be able to easily access various childcare information through ‘Seongdong Yugae Talk Talk.’ We will continue to strive to provide diverse life-centered services and make efforts to become a special city for happy childcare.”
