[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Music platform FLO announced on the 14th that it was selected as the No. 1 platform in the music service category of the 2021 National Customer Satisfaction Index (NCSI) survey conducted by the Korea Productivity Center.
The music service category was included for the first time this year in the NCSI industry survey, reflecting the increase in users due to expanded content consumption and consumer interest in subscription services. FLO received the highest evaluations in areas such as ▲customer perceived quality ▲customer retention rate, and scored highly in customer satisfaction with service expectation levels, securing the top spot in NCSI customer satisfaction. NCSI is a customer index jointly developed by the Korea Productivity Center and the University of Michigan in the United States, which comprehensively evaluates service quality and value based on actual customers who have experienced the products or services of the company.
FLO provides personalized music recommendation services across various areas within the platform based on users’ music listening data and patterns, and is enhancing convenience for preference-centered music listening through differentiated user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) updates.
Within FLO, the ‘Nae Chwihyang MIX (My Taste MIX)’ feature, which plays any playlist in the user’s preferred order with a single button, and the ‘Jump (JUMP)’ feature, which combines ‘Nugu (NUGU)’ AI technology to create infinitely recommended theme lists based on frequently listened playlists, liked songs, or artists, are exclusive to FLO.
Additionally, recently introduced features include a library recommendation panel that filters and conveniently provides songs accumulated in the library for users who prefer to repeatedly listen to stored music, and a ‘First 14 Days of Recommendations’ tasting feature for new users without preference data upon joining FLO.
Lee Ki-young, CEO of Dreamus Company, stated, “FLO, now in its third year of service, has much more to show than it has so far. We will continue to create new music experiences that users can recognize throughout this year.”
