[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] NanoEntek is showing strong performance following news that Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon is considering implementing a pilot project using COVID-19 rapid antigen test kits. NanoEntek is a company that manufactures COVID-19 rapid antigen test kits.

As of 9:48 AM on the 14th, NanoEntek is trading at 11,300 KRW, up 13.23% compared to the previous day.

Mayor Oh Se-hoon stated at the Cabinet meeting the day before, "Seoul City intends to first implement a pilot project utilizing the rapid antigen testing method recognized by the government."

NanoEntek has developed a kit that can diagnose COVID-19 with 95% accuracy in about 3 minutes. Recently, the product has been approved by the Italian health authorities and is being exported.
