Completion of Think Tank Establishment Following Mando and Halla
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Hanla Holdings announced on the 14th that it has established WG Campus, a new business specialized organization. WG is derived from the pen name 'Ungok (雲谷)' of founder Jeong In-young.
With this, Hanla Group has completed the establishment of a new growth think tank by setting up new business specialized organizations at Mando (automotive division), Hanla (construction division), and now Hanla Holdings.
According to Hanla Holdings, WG Campus will focus on researching new platform-based business models. It will review business models linked to invested companies such as Be My Car and Our Box, as well as promote new digital platform businesses different from existing ones.
Additionally, WG Campus at Mando, which focuses on business development in autonomous driving robots, eco-friendly mobility, and cloud-based data linkage services, and WG Campus at Hanla, which is developing smart logistics warehouse platforms and small-to-medium real estate value-up projects, will also collaborate.
The leader of Hanla Holdings WG Campus is Executive Director Kang Jeong-woo. Director Kang is an expert in platform-based business models and portfolio transformation, with extensive experience in advanced new technology businesses such as e-commerce, artificial intelligence (AI), big data, and augmented reality (AR).
Meanwhile, Hanla Holdings transitioned to a smart office system in March to establish an agile corporate culture. Flexible seating, flexible working hours, and remote work systems are in place, and the working methods have been fully digitized. To this end, base offices have been established in Yangjae and Seongsu-dong, and work-related data is recorded in the cloud.
