[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] Shinsegae Department Store’s main branch announced on the 14th that it will hold a 'Health & Beauty Homecare' event from the 16th to the 22nd. Fitness equipment, self-beauty care products, and more are gathered in one place to assist consumers embarking on homecare shopping.
On the 1st floor atrium of the new building, treadmills and cycles have been prepared for easy indoor exercise. These include the MyRun treadmill priced at 5.6 million KRW and the BikePersonal cycle at 11.8 million KRW. Customers can directly experience and purchase these at the pop-up store.
Beauty care products are also offered with discounts of up to 15% off the regular price. When purchasing Shangpree sunscreen or satin cream, one additional item is given for free. Representative products include Shangpree Satin Cream at 180,000 KRW and Diptyque Eau de Parfum Orph?on (75ml) at 220,000 KRW.
Home appliances, home cooking, and health food products that help maintain an active lifestyle during telecommuting and staying at home have also been prepared. Pillows, air purifiers, propolis, and more are gathered in one place at the central event hall on basement level 1.
Brand Korea Tech offers medical devices such as Athlet, which enhances spinal and pelvic stability; Doctor Chair, which helps maintain posture to avoid strain on the hip joints; and the Pukjam pillow, which provides a snug feeling like a hand massage, all at up to 20% discounted prices. When purchasing the Pukjam pillow, a natural glass material pillow cover worth 20,000 KRW is given as a gift. Representative products include Athlet at 143,200 KRW and Pukjam pillow at 248,000 KRW. The health appliance brand Cuckoo offers air purifiers and water purifiers at prices 5-10% lower than the regular price.
There are also health foods that boost immunity. The health food brand Comvita has prepared Propolis Softgel (250 capsules) at a 50% discounted price of 82,500 KRW. Premium brain yogurt, pumpkin & pregola salad, and organic pecan butter are also introduced for a healthy meal.

Meanwhile, a special space for the increasing number of homebodies has also been newly organized. The lifestyle zone, located in the middle of the women’s fashion store on the 2nd floor of the new building, showcases various lifestyle genre products such as fitness equipment (Wellness Shop), premium furniture and lighting (Atempo), and tableware (Anstyle).
The Atempo store here houses a total of six brands including office furniture and lighting. It features top market share Italian office furniture brand Techno and Kettnaker, which combines 150 years of tradition with technological innovation. Representative products include Zanotta Nomos table at 6 million KRW, Zanotta Joy shelf at 8.6 million KRW, and Humanscale Freedom chair at 2.8 million KRW. Customers with previous purchase history are offered a 15% discount.
Additionally, Anstyle, which introduces interior design accessories from famous overseas design brands, is a unique lifestyle store that respects individual personalities. To celebrate the opening of the new store, a 10-20% discount event is underway on selected items. Representative products include Italian brand Seletti full-length mirror at 970,000 KRW and folding chair at 129,000 KRW.
