SC Jeil Bank, Mobile Life UCC Video Contest

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] SC First Bank announced on the 13th that it will hold the ‘2021 SC First Bank Mobile Life UCC Video Contest ? Show Us the Best Version of You!’ until May 14, selecting outstanding videos that express the main functions of the SC First Bank mobile banking app through various perspectives and fresh ideas from university students.

Participants can choose two or more functions from the mobile banking app, such as keyboard banking, open banking, easy transfers, and inquiry of other bank asset status, and create a video within 2 minutes without format restrictions. Any university student in Korea (including those on leave) can apply, and there is no limit on the number of team members if applying as a group.

Applicants wishing to participate can download the application form from the participation guide page posted on the SC First Bank website and submit it along with their video to the contest operation office’s email by May 14.

The finalists will be announced on May 25, and from May 31 to June 11, the public final voting will be held on SC First Bank’s official YouTube channel, with the final winners announced on June 16.

The award categories are divided into three sections according to the video theme: the highest award SC First Grand Prize (大賞), and the S (Stylish), C (Creative), and Jeil (Best) categories.

The SC First Grand Prize is awarded to the team that receives the highest score in the public final voting on the YouTube channel. The S (Stylish) category selects the video that best captures the contest theme in a stylish and sophisticated way, the C (Creative) category selects the video that presents the theme in the most fun and ingenious manner, and the Jeil (Best) category selects the video that is most faithful to the theme and has high public appeal.

The finalists will be internally reviewed to select 10 videos per category, totaling 30 videos, all of which will receive a participation prize and a cash award of 100,000 KRW. Then, 1st to 3rd places will be selected in each of the three categories, with prizes of 2,000,000 KRW for 1st place, 1,000,000 KRW for 2nd place, and 500,000 KRW for 3rd place per category. The highest award, the SC First Grand Prize, will receive a prize of 5,000,000 KRW.
