HiteJinro 'Stout' Launches Limited Edition Menu 'Stout Churros' with Street Churros


[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] HiteJinro announced on the 13th that it will carry out a collaboration to provide consumers with a unique experience and enjoyment in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the launch of 'Stout,' the first domestic black beer brand.


HiteJinro developed a new menu item, 'Stout Churros,' in collaboration with the churros specialty store Street Churros, and will offer it as a limited menu on the 14th. The Stout Churros, presented as a Black Day event menu, will be sold at the first Street Churros flagship store in Itaewon, applying a deep black color characteristic of the Stout brand to the original churros. The price is the same as the original churros, with Stout Churros available for 3,800 KRW and Stout Stick Churros for 5,300 KRW.


HiteJinro plans to continue collaborative activities by linking the 'Stout X Street Churros' developed menu with Stout sales.


Stout, the first premium lager-type black beer in Korea, uses German black malt and was first introduced in 1991.


Seongtaek Oh, Executive Director of Marketing at HiteJinro, said, "We are pleased to provide enjoyment to consumers through a unique collaboration to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the launch of Stout, HiteJinro's representative premium black beer," adding, "We will continue to lead the growth of the domestic liquor market by consistently presenting activities that meet the diverse needs of consumers."
