'Seomseom Oksu' Yongsan Station Branch Opens... Creating Win-Win Customized Jobs

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] ADT Caps (CEO Park Jin-hyo) announced on the 12th that it held an opening ceremony for the nail care store for the hearing impaired, 'Seomseom Oksu,' located at Yongsan Station. 'Seomseom Oksu' is a job creation project for disabled nail care workers implemented in collaboration with Korea Railroad Corporation and Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled.

At Seomseom Oksu, hearing-impaired individuals who have received professional training provide free nail care services to railroad passengers, helping them play a role as members of society. Korea Railroad Corporation provides unused space in railway stations free of charge, and Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled is responsible for nail care training and support for assistive technology for communication. So far, three stores have been opened (Busan, Iksan, Daejeon).

The fourth Seomseom Oksu store, located at Yongsan Station, will offer career development opportunities and customized job creation for women with severe disabilities, who face relatively difficult employment conditions. ADT Caps oversees the establishment of the Seomseom Oksu ADT Caps Yongsan Station branch, including the installation of security equipment, workforce management, and store operations to ensure an optimal working environment.

Customers wishing to use the Seomseom Oksu ADT Caps Yongsan Station branch can receive free nail care by presenting a same-day train ticket. The store is located near the Dal parking lot on the 4th floor of I'Park Mall at Yongsan Station. Choi Sang-yeol, head of the ADT Caps Talent Support Group, stated, "ADT Caps will fulfill its corporate social responsibility through ESG management activities for socially vulnerable groups and by developing life care services that can help in daily life."
