[Asia Economy Reporter Joo-mi Lee] Jang Je-won, a member of the People Power Party, criticized former Emergency Committee Chairman Kim Jong-in's remark calling Ahn Cheol-soo, leader of the People Party, "arrogant," describing it as "overconfident."

On the 12th, Jang stated on his Facebook, "The former emergency committee chairman is uttering the words we should be most wary of after the election."

He continued, "During his tenure, he told us not to shake the party, but as soon as he left, he started shaking the party himself," and criticized, "Is he some kind of Taesangwang (Great Ancestor King)? I don't know what lingering regrets make him pour out such harsh words."

He added, "Is he sulking because the party didn't hold onto him?" and pointed out, "Suddenly spitting venomous remarks at Leader Ahn Cheol-soo in a 'throwing away the dog after hunting' manner, even spitting on opposition unity, he only looks like someone lost in self-absorption, unable to control himself."

He mentioned that former Chairman Kim had said, "Do not mistake the people's victory for your own victory," and remarked, "I have taken the last message to heart. But it seems it was a lie. He appears to be beyond delusion, almost dazed."

He added, "I hope the greedy, commissioned politics that monopolizes all the credit for victory to dominate the presidential election situation, and the heartless technician politics, will come to an end now."

Earlier, in an interview with Yonhap News released on the 11th, former Chairman Kim criticized Leader Ahn for calling the recent by-elections an "opposition victory," saying, "How can he say such arrogant things?"

Regarding the possibility of a political alliance between Leader Ahn and former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-youl, he said, "They cannot unite," and added, "There is no relation at all, but Leader Ahn arbitrarily mentioned someone else's name."
