[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] Lotte Confectionery announced on the 12th that ‘NyamNyam Lab,’ developed in collaboration with the Lotte Central Research Institute, is conducting its first recruitment.
The first recruitment for ‘NyamNyam Lab’ is limited to the first 100 applicants and will be conducted through Lotte Confectionery’s official online mall, ‘Lotte Sweet Mall.’ The application deadline is the 18th of this month. To participate in the content, applicants must access ‘Lotte Sweet Mall’ and purchase a class kit product, which grants access to the ‘NyamNyam Lab’ online class content. The price of the class kit product is 18,000 KRW. Additionally, around the end of this month, a DIY kit similar to the ‘NyamNyam Lab’ class kit will be separately launched on the online mall. The price of this DIY kit is 14,900 KRW.
‘NyamNyam Lab’ is a business item that was concretized from an idea after winning an internal venture contest held by the Lotte Central Research Institute in 2020. The main target age group is children aged 5 to 9. Lotte Confectionery and the Lotte Central Research Institute collaborate to operate themed online classes, allowing children to experience being a daily food researcher and enabling real-time communication with the instructors conducting the classes.
The theme of the first ‘NyamNyam Lab’ online class is ‘Making an Ice Cream Shop.’ This content will be open sequentially twice every Friday at 3 PM and 5 PM from April 23 to May 21, totaling 10 sessions.
