UNESCO World Heritage International Interpretation and Education Center Establishment Promotion Team Relay Lecture Held
The Cultural Heritage Administration announced on the 12th that the "Understanding Interpretation and Explanation of World Heritage Online Lecture Series" will be held once a month from the 15th to November 18. This relay lecture series is hosted by the UNESCO World Heritage International Interpretation and Explanation Center Establishment Promotion Team. Under the theme "Heritage Interpretation: Conveying the Diverse Values of World Heritage," seven lectures and one special roundtable discussion will be conducted. Starting with Mario Santana, Secretary-General of the International Council on Monuments and Sites, experts from museums, tourism, digital technology, visitor experience, community participation, and media will be invited. The special roundtable at the end will include Secretary-General Santana and Professor Nick Silverman from the University of Massachusetts, USA. All lectures will be broadcast live through the Promotion Team's YouTube and Facebook channels. Videos with Korean and English subtitles will be provided later.
