SK Telecom, No.1 in National Customer Satisfaction for 24 Consecutive Years... The Only Domestic Company SK Telecom announced on the 12th that it ranked first in the mobile phone service sector for 24 consecutive years, the first domestic company to do so, in the 2021 National Customer Satisfaction Index (NCSI) survey selected and announced by the Korea Productivity Center. [Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] SK Telecom has secured the 1st place for 24 consecutive years in the mobile phone service category of the 2021 National Customer Satisfaction Index (NCSI) survey conducted by the Korea Productivity Center. Achieving 1st place in the NCSI for 24 consecutive years is the longest-standing record among all industry sectors surveyed for customer satisfaction.


Introduced domestically for the first time in 1998, the NCSI survey measures and quantifies the satisfaction level directly evaluated by customers regarding companies' products and services each year. Jointly developed by the Korea Productivity Center and the University of Michigan in the United States, the NCSI survey is recognized as the most prestigious customer satisfaction index in Korea and is widely utilized in various countries around the world.


Notably, this year, SK ICT Family companies ranked 1st in five categories of the NCSI. SK Broadband secured 1st place for 11 consecutive years in the high-speed internet and IPTV service categories, while SK Telink was selected as the 1st place company in international call services for 8 consecutive years. Additionally, FLO ranked 1st in the newly established music streaming service category this year.


Regarding this, SK Telecom explained that it was recognized for its efforts to improve customer experience by integrating cutting-edge ICT technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) in the untact era.


Lee Ki-yoon, Head of Customer Value Innovation at SK Telecom, stated, “Achieving 1st place in the National Customer Satisfaction Index for 24 consecutive years signifies the reaffirmation of customers' trust in SK Telecom’s services,” and added, “We will continue to innovate customer value to become a company that customers can feel proud to use.”
