"Ideas and Experiences from Store Operations Will Help Enhance Competitiveness"
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Emart24 announced on the 12th that it will hold a 'Store Owner Idea Contest' to strengthen store competitiveness.
The idea contest, held for the first time this year, is an event planned to explore ways for Emart24 to grow together with store owners and to create an opportunity for communication with them. Any Emart24 store owner with ideas that can help activate store sales and improve store competitiveness can participate in this contest.
To participate, applicants must fill out the application form downloaded from E-Store (franchise system) by the 30th and register it directly on E-Store or submit it via email or mail.
The contest categories include system, logistics, facilities (interior), design, marketing (events), products, and others. Participants can enter if they have innovative ideas related to these fields that help store operations. Experience or success stories that contribute to activating store sales are also eligible.
Submitted ideas will undergo a first-round document evaluation. Ideas selected in the first round will be refined through mentoring by headquarters’ operational staff. Afterwards, operational staff and department heads in each category will review the presentations by store owners and conduct the second evaluation. After a fair judging process, the final results will be announced in July. Five finalists will receive a total prize of approximately 10 million KRW and awards.
The ideas selected in this contest will be applied to actual operations through collaboration with relevant departments to strengthen store competitiveness and provide practical support for store management.
Emart24 expects that improvements and unique operational experiences felt by franchise store owners during actual store management will greatly contribute to strengthening store competitiveness, and plans to hold the idea contest regularly.
Last year, Emart24 established the Win-Win Cooperation Coordination Committee to expand communication channels with franchise stores, fully support disaster and property insurance and cash theft insurance costs for all franchise stores, and launched legal and labor advisory services available to all franchise stores as part of its win-win activities.
Park Yong-il, Executive Director of Emart24 Support, said, "We planned this contest with the hope of listening to the valuable opinions of store owners and creating a place where headquarters and store owners can communicate together," adding, "We expect that innovative ideas will greatly help enhance the Emart24 brand value and increase sales."
