[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Sumi] On Monday the 12th, the whole country is expected to be mostly cloudy with rain starting in the afternoon nationwide.


According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the country will be on the edge of a high-pressure system moving eastward over the East Sea in the morning, then gradually come under the influence of a low-pressure system moving northeast near the Shandong Peninsula in China.


Due to the trough, rain will fall in the morning on the western coast of Gyeonggi Province, western Chungnam, Jeolla region, and western Gyeongnam, expanding to most areas nationwide in the afternoon.


Expected minimum temperatures by region are △Seoul 13°C △Incheon 13°C △Suwon 11°C △Chuncheon 9°C △Gangneung 12°C △Cheongju 11°C △Daejeon 10°C △Jeonju 12°C △Gwangju 12°C △Daegu 9°C △Busan 12°C △Jeju 15°C.


Daytime maximum temperatures are expected to be △Seoul 16°C △Incheon 16°C △Suwon 16°C △Chuncheon 16°C △Gangneung 19°C △Cheongju 16°C △Daejeon 17°C △Jeonju 18°C △Gwangju 17°C △Daegu 17°C △Busan 18°C △Jeju 20°C.


Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Good' to 'Moderate' across all regions. However, some central and western areas may experience temporarily 'Unhealthy' levels in the morning due to accumulated domestic fine dust.


The Korea Meteorological Administration urged, "To prevent damage caused by strong winds, please inspect and prepare in advance for outdoor facilities such as screening clinics, construction sites, vinyl greenhouses, traffic lights, as well as falling objects and signboards."
