‘112-Jigudae and Police Substation Joint Meeting’ Held... Discussion on Measures to Shorten Response Time
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju Gwangsan Police Station (Chief Kim Gwangnam) is making every effort to improve citizens' satisfaction with public safety.
Gwangsan Police Station announced that, following the meeting on the 7th, it held a '112-Jigu Station and Police Box Joint Meeting' on the 9th to shorten 112 dispatch times and enhance public safety satisfaction.
This meeting was promoted to systematically manage from the 112 report reception stage to arrival, shortening dispatch times, improving public safety satisfaction, and increasing citizens' trust.
Under the chairmanship of Kang Jeonggu, Head of the 112 Public Safety Comprehensive Situation Room, collaboration between 112 and local police was discussed to reduce on-site response times and improve public safety customer satisfaction.
Additionally, regarding the establishment of a full-scale 112 emergency response system, difficulties and suggestions from local police and management teams were heard to review ways to improve internal satisfaction among local police.
Kang Jeonggu, Head of the 112 Public Safety Comprehensive Situation Room, stated, “We will strive to improve public safety satisfaction by securing the golden time for the citizens' emergency bell, the 112 report, and by processing reports quickly and accurately.”
