Myungsung TNS Obtains Patent for Drying Technology of Secondary Battery Separator Films

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] Myeongseong TNS announced on the 9th that it has acquired a patent related to the 'Drying Device for Lithium Secondary Battery Separator Film.' The patent pertains to a drying device for lithium secondary battery separator film that can recover residual MC solvent while drying the separator film during the oil removal and extraction process of the separator film.

A representative of Myeongseong TNS stated, “We plan to utilize the drying device technology of the patent to improve the drying performance of separator films, increase productivity through MC solvent recovery, and reduce costs, thereby developing separator film equipment for secondary batteries with high price competitiveness.”
