CJ Logistics Construction Division Delivers 'Warmth Packages' to Low-Income Vulnerable Families in Bangbae CJ Logistics Construction Division employees delivering warmth packages and handwritten greeting postcards.

[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] CJ Logistics Construction Division announced on the 9th that it started the 'Delivering Warm Regards' campaign on the 8th, targeting low-income vulnerable households in the Bangbae area of Seocho-gu, Seoul.

This campaign, conducted in collaboration with Caritas Bangbae Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, began by supporting 10 low-income vulnerable households within the Bangbae area of Seocho-gu, where CJ Logistics Construction Division is located. The households were selected by Caritas Bangbae Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, and CJ Logistics Construction Division employees purchase essential daily necessities, groceries, and instant foods needed by each household, assemble them into packages, and deliver them monthly.

Considering the COVID-19 situation, the deliveries are made contactlessly, and each package includes a handwritten greeting postcard from CJ Logistics Construction Division employees. The first phase of the campaign will continue until the end of this year, after which the welfare center and recipients' satisfaction, the possibility of expanding the target households, employees' sense of accomplishment, and cooperation with other organizations will be reviewed to redefine the future direction of the campaign.

Kim Minsu, Executive Director of the Management Team at CJ Logistics Construction Division, said, "One of CJ Group's core management philosophies, mutual growth, includes coexistence with the local community. Although there are many restrictions due to COVID-19, we plan to continuously find and carry out various non-face-to-face volunteer activities that more employees can participate in, such as delivering warm packages."

Meanwhile, CJ Logistics Construction Division plans to resume activities from June, focusing on construction sites nationwide, including assembling and delivering solar lanterns to energy-deficient countries in Asia and Africa, continuing last year's efforts alongside non-face-to-face volunteer activities amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
