[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-su] The Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity is accepting applications for two open contract positions?the Director of the Comprehensive and Remote Education Training Institute and the Head of the Science Culture Expansion Team?until the 19th.
The Director of the Comprehensive and Remote Education Training Institute will be selected through competition between internal staff and external experts, while the Head of the Science Culture Expansion Team will be chosen through competition among external experts.
As part of the implementation of the "Fundamental Innovation Plan for the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity," established last September, the foundation has been preparing to hire open contract positions. Key positions requiring project management and policy planning capabilities will be opened to external candidates to further strengthen a professionalism- and competency-centered personnel system.
Jo Yul-rae, the foundation’s chairman, stated, “We are currently faithfully implementing the fundamental innovation plan to restore public trust and strengthen the foundation’s unique role,” adding, “We will also introduce a healthy competitive system within internal positions to accelerate the achievement of project outcomes.”
