[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Jeju Air announced on the 9th that it will begin operating the 'Muan~Jeju' route twice a week starting from the 29th.
The flight schedule for the Muan~Jeju route is as follows: flights departing from Muan to Jeju leave at 7:10 AM on Fridays and 6:40 AM on Mondays, while flights from Jeju to Muan depart at 7:35 PM on Thursdays and 7:30 PM on Sundays.
To commemorate the launch of the Muan~Jeju route, Jeju Air is holding a special ticket sale event starting at 10 AM on the 9th, offering one-way total fares including fuel surcharges and airport facility fees from 9,900 KRW.
The special fare tickets can be booked only through the Jeju Air website, mobile app, or mobile web from the 9th until the 25th, and may sell out early depending on reservation status.
There is also an event offering coupons that provide discounts of up to 8,000 KRW when purchasing round-trip tickets. Customers can download coupons from the promotion page and use them at payment: a 3,000 KRW discount for round-trip fares between 50,000 KRW and 100,000 KRW, and a 2,000 KRW discount for fares under 50,000 KRW. Additionally, selecting the ‘Flyback Plus’ fare and paying over 100,000 KRW grants an immediate 8,000 KRW discount coupon.
Jeju Air is continuously expanding domestic flights originating from Jeju to accommodate the increasing number of travelers visiting Jeju in spring. On the 4th and 5th, Jeju Air operated a record-high 101 flights per day from Jeju for two consecutive days, and on the 4th, transported a record daily passenger count of 17,029.
