[Asia Economy Reporter Kim So-young] Former Dongyang University professor Jin Joong-kwon criticized the Democratic Party of Korea on the 8th, saying, "The Democratic Party perceives criticism made with affection as an attack."

On the same day, at a special lecture during the 1st Yeongnam Ilbo Local Autonomy Academy entrance ceremony held at Hotel Inter-Burgo in Daegu, Professor Jin said, "I have written 50 columns," and pointed out, "But (the Democratic Party) only sees them as attacks."

He also criticized the Democratic Party's campaign headquarters chief for the April 7 Seoul and Busan by-elections, stating, "The Democratic Party's campaign headquarters chief is none other than Kim Eo-jun." Professor Jin described Kim as a "conspiracy theorist" and sharply criticized, "The ruling party supported a broadcast run by a conspiracy theorist at the party level, and even the candidates jumped in."

Professor Jin's criticism is interpreted as a response to Kim Eo-jun, host of 'TBS News Factory,' repeatedly mentioning the 'Saengtaetang (fish stew) controversy' on his broadcast, which the People Power Party labeled as negative campaigning, ultimately causing unfavorable effects from the Democratic Party's perspective.

On the other hand, Professor Jin gave a positive evaluation of the People Power Party. He said, "I have also been critical of the People Power Party and said the party has no brain, but still, that party listens."

He added, "(The People Power Party) apologized for the May 18 incident and apologized regarding the two former presidents (Lee Myung-bak and Park Geun-hye)," and said, "Supporters did not bring Taegeukgi flags to the campaign venues. When I criticized them, they listened and sometimes reflected."
