Seven Eleven is partnering with Lotte Chilsung Beverage's official online mall, Chilsung Mall, to launch a wine pickup service.
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Seven Eleven announced on the 9th that it will launch a wine pickup service in partnership with Lotte Chilsung Beverage's official online mall, Chilsung Mall.
This service allows customers to reserve their desired wine on Chilsung Mall, select the pickup date and preferred store, and then make the payment. Afterwards, a notification message is sent to the customer, who can visit the nearest Seven Eleven on the designated date, present their ID and order confirmation, and receive the product.
Chilsung Mall offers a variety of wines imported from famous wineries around the world, including France and Chile, ranging from ultra-low-priced wines under 10,000 KRW to premium wines priced in the 1,000,000 KRW range. The service will start at over 1,000 major stores nationwide and plans to expand to 6,000 stores within the year.
In addition to the Chilsung Mall wine pickup service, Seven Eleven has newly introduced a same-day wine delivery service through the Seven Eleven mobile app. If customers reserve wine on the Seven App (APP) by 8 a.m., they can pick it up at the store by 6 p.m. on the same day. Currently, this service is available only in the metropolitan area.
A Seven Eleven official stated, “Through this expansion of sales channels, by integrating online and offline, we expect to significantly increase the variety of products and customer satisfaction for consumers seeking wine at convenience stores, comparable to wine specialty stores. We plan to focus on further enhancing offline store competitiveness through differentiated services linked with online platforms.”
