SSG.com, Obanjang Character Effect 'Ttokttok'... Sales Increase Over 10%

SSG.com saw an increase of more than 10% in both visitors and sales compared to the same period last month after revamping the Obanjang section last month.

Obanjang is an abbreviation for "Today's Flash Shopping," a discount corner that offers about 60 different shopping items at special prices every day for 24 hours starting from 9 a.m. SSG.com introduced a new mascot character with the same name when revamping this corner.

SSG.com is also planning to launch 'goods' using the Obanjang character in the future. The plan is to produce various accessories made from eco-friendly materials and give them to customers who use the Obanjang corner.

An SSG.com official said, "The goal is to approach customers more familiarly by prominently featuring the character named Obanjang along with unprecedented discount benefits," adding, "We will continue to do our best to capture shopping demand and activate the Obanjang character through various events."
