Cleveland Golf has launched the ‘RTX Deep Forged Wedge (photo)’.
The key feature is the 19 grooves. Through more precise laser milling, the face surface is processed to be rougher, maximizing friction. This allows golfers to experience optimal spin performance in any field condition. Made from S20C mild carbon steel forging, it offers a soft impact feel as if the ball sticks to the face upon impact. Compared to the previous model, the sole width has been increased by 1.5mm and the ball strike area has been designed thicker.
Even in trouble situations, the head easily escapes from the grass, providing high forgiveness. The sweet spot is also larger, enabling consistently accurate approach shots from lies where the ball is at various heights. The loft options are seven types: 48, 50, 52, 54, 56, 58, and 60 degrees. The Dynamic Gold (DYNAMIC GOLD) S200 and N.S. PRO 950 S shafts come standard. Users can choose according to their swing characteristics. A dedicated headcover is included as a gift upon purchase.
