Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union (EU), announced on the 8th (local time) that the Producer Price Index (PPI) of the Eurozone (19 countries using the euro) in February rose by 0.5% compared to the previous month. This figure fell short of the market forecast of a 0.6% increase.
