New Album, First Work-Integrated 'DT' Training Conducted at Financial Public Institution

[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] The Korea Credit Guarantee Fund announced on the 8th that it will implement a 'Digital Transformation (DT) Training Program' specialized for its credit guarantee operations.

The DT training program is a project aimed at cultivating experts who possess both financial knowledge and digital skills. It was promoted as part of Shinbo's digital business innovation to resolve the financial blind spots of small and medium-sized enterprises and improve customer accessibility by utilizing its own big data.

The program is conducted through a two-track approach: in-house training using internal experts and outsourced training through external specialized institutions.

The in-house training is conducted by appointing big data experts as dedicated instructors within the company to teach data analysis and business planning. Outsourced training through specialized institutions tends to focus on general and standardized cases, which limits the connection between the training content and actual work.

Therefore, the program is organized to focus on practical data utilization and hands-on practice, emphasizing the connection between training content and work. Additionally, through courses that involve directly coding the company's internal computer programs, employees are given opportunities to understand the computerization process of their tasks and explore their IT aptitudes.

Outsourced training through external specialized institutions is strengthened by focusing on trend learning and advanced specialized technical courses. Along with adding data science degree programs to the existing policy and management science-centered specialized outsourced training, participation in the Korea Institute of Finance's Financial DT Academy courses will also be significantly expanded.

A Shinbo official stated, "With the introduction of this training program, a self-directed training system for cultivating DT professionals has been established," and emphasized, "We will strengthen employees' digital expertise and transform into an institution leading digital business innovation."
