[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] A small business owner in Gimhae-si, Gyeongnam, anonymously donated government disaster relief funds twice.
According to Juchon-myeon Administrative Welfare Center on the 8th, the anonymous angel used the entire amount of 3 million won from the government's 4th disaster relief fund to purchase 70 bags of 10kg rice and 35 boxes of ramen, which were sent to the Administrative Welfare Center on the 8th through a delivery company.
The Administrative Welfare Center plans to deliver the donated goods non-face-to-face to vulnerable households such as elderly living alone in Juchon-myeon.
Earlier, in January, he donated 63 bags of 10kg rice to the center using the entire amount of 2 million won from the 3rd disaster relief fund, saying, "Everyone is going through a difficult time, but I wanted to help neighbors who are in more difficult situations than me and overcome this crisis together. If circumstances allow, I want to continue regular support," and he continues to uphold this intention.
Jung Woon-ho, head of Juchon-myeon, said, "As he is also a small business owner, he must be facing great difficulties, so I am very grateful that he practiced sharing twice like this," and added, "I hope his warm heart spreads throughout Gimhae and that the COVID-19 crisis is overcome early."
