[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Metropolitan City and the Artificial Intelligence Industry Convergence Project Group announced on the 8th that they will recruit participating companies for the AI Prototype and Service Production Support Project from the 9th to next month’s 10th.
The ‘AI Prototype and Service Production Support Project’ is designed to support the production and commercialization costs of AI (prototype) products and services by AI startups.
The target participants are AI startups established less than seven years ago and small and medium venture companies seeking to adopt AI technology. About 35 projects will be selected from the applications, with support ranging from 50 million KRW to a maximum of 150 million KRW per project, totaling 2.625 billion KRW.
Gwangju City plans to additionally support companies selected for the AI Prototype and Service Production Support Project with AI startup education, product and service quality improvement consulting, regulatory relief consulting, and other startup support projects promoted by the Artificial Intelligence Industry Convergence Project Group.
