Yoo Jung-beom, CEO of Mesh Korea, Participates in Relay Challenge
Holding a Traffic Safety Slogan, "Leading a Mature Traffic Culture"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Yoo Jeong-beom, CEO of Mesh Korea, which operates the logistics brand 'VROONG,' participated in the 'Children's Traffic Safety Relay Challenge.'
On the 8th, Mesh Korea announced that CEO Yoo took part in the relay challenge aimed at preventing traffic accidents in school zones and promoting a culture of traffic safety.
The Children's Traffic Safety Relay Challenge is a campaign launched by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety in December last year. Participants post commemorative photos taken with slogans promoting traffic safety culture in school zones on social networking services (SNS) and nominate the next participant.
CEO Yoo was nominated by Jung Sung-pil, CEO of CJ Freshway, to join this challenge. He continued the relay by uploading a photo holding a traffic safety slogan on VROONG's official Instagram account. He nominated Won Ki-chan, owner and CEO of the Samsung Lions, and Lee Moon-joo, CEO of the food company Cookat, as the next participants.
CEO Yoo said, "I participated in this campaign hoping that children can walk safely on the streets," adding, "Mesh Korea will do its best to comply with safety rules in school zones and become a benchmark in the logistics industry leading a mature traffic culture."
Meanwhile, in May last year, CEO Yoo participated in the 'Thanks Challenge' with VROONG riders to support medical staff working to overcome COVID-19. Mesh Korea is piloting eco-friendly delivery services using electric vehicles and is striving to fulfill corporate social responsibility by establishing accident insurance for exclusive VROONG riders.
