[Asia Economy (Seongnam) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province will hold a 'Job Seeker and Employer Meeting Day' event from the 13th to the 15th at the small conference room on the 11th floor of the Seongnam Industrial Complex Management Corporation in Sangdaewon 1-dong, Jungwon-gu.
Seongnam City announced on the 8th that during the event period, 10 hiring companies will conduct video or face-to-face interviews with job seekers who have passed the first round of document screening.
The companies participating in this event include Samyoung Electronics Industry Co., Ltd., Plasos Co., Ltd., SPC Samlip Co., Ltd., Microdigital Co., Ltd., and U&U Customs Office. These companies plan to hire about 30 people.
Job seekers wishing to apply should send their resumes and self-introduction letters to the Seongnam Job Center at City Hall by the day before the event.
The city will forward the profiles of applicants to the respective companies to support the document screening process.
Additionally, AI coupons that allow applicants to experience online interviews in advance will be provided.
At the event venue, visitors can experience virtual reality (VR) interviews and receive fingerprint aptitude testing services.
The Seongnam Industrial Complex Management Corporation, where this event is held, is a corporate body that manages and supports the production activities and welfare of 3,849 companies and 42,816 workers located in Seongnam High-Tech Valley.
A city official explained, "We organized the 'Job Seeker and Employer Meeting Day' event on-site at the industrial complex to organically connect local youth with employment opportunities."
