[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Han Seong-suk, CEO of Naver, participated in the 'Children's Traffic Safety Challenge' campaign.
On the 7th, a photo of CEO Han holding a panel with the phrase "Stop at 1!, Look both ways at 2!, Wait for 3 seconds!, Prevent with 4 high risks!" from the Children's Traffic Safety Challenge campaign was posted on Naver's official blog.
CEO Han joined the campaign after being nominated by Kang Hee-seok, President of E-Mart and SSG.com.
CEO Han said, "I joined with the belief that adults' more attentive concern is the first step in creating a safe environment for children," and added, "I hope this campaign will help establish a traffic safety culture where children can walk safely with peace of mind."
She nominated Kim Beom-jun, CEO of Woowa Brothers, and Cho Gyu-chan, Chairman of the Naver Connect Foundation, as the next participants in the campaign.
Meanwhile, the 'Children's Traffic Safety Relay Challenge' is a campaign started by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety in December last year to fundamentally improve awareness of child protection zones with high traffic accident risks and to establish a culture that prioritizes child protection.
