Area with the highest rise in Jeonse prices is Gangnam
[Asia Economy Reporter Onyu Lim] Over the past year, the area with the highest increase in apartment prices nationwide was Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do.
On the 7th, Economic Man Lab, a real estate information provider, analyzed KB Real Estate's housing price trends and found that Bundang-gu had the largest increase in average apartment sale price per 3.3㎡ by city and district nationwide over the past year.
In Bundang-gu, the price per 3.3㎡ rose from 34.38 million KRW in March last year to 44.40 million KRW last month, an increase of 10.02 million KRW in one year, making it the only area nationwide to rise by more than 10 million KRW.
According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's actual transaction price information, a 131.4㎡ exclusive area apartment in Pureunmaeul (Ssangyong) in Sunae-dong, Bundang-gu, was traded at 1.25 billion KRW (10th floor) in March last year, but last month it was sold for 1.8 billion KRW (12th floor), rising by 550 million KRW in one year.
Similarly, a 59.85㎡ apartment in Botdeulmaeul 3 Complex (Jugong) in Sangpyeong-dong, Bundang-gu, was traded at 900 million KRW (7th floor) during the same period and rose to 1.35 billion KRW (8th floor), increasing by 450 million KRW.
Following Bundang-gu, Gangnam-gu in Seoul saw an increase of 9.17 million KRW (from 66.43 million KRW to 75.60 million KRW) during the same period.
The area with the highest increase in average jeonse price per 3.3㎡ was Gangnam-gu, rising by 7.87 million KRW to 38.51 million KRW compared to one year ago, followed by Bundang-gu, which rose by 7.30 million KRW to 26.48 million KRW over the same period.
