Zhao Lijian, spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said at a regular briefing on the 6th, in response to a question about the outcomes of the Korea-China foreign ministers' meeting held on the 3rd in Xiamen, Fujian Province, "There is a saying in China, 'Samship Irip (三十而立)'," referring to this. Irip, meaning 30 years old, is an expression from the Analects that signifies 'firmly establishing one's purpose.'

Spokesperson Zhao stated, "Based on the foundation of 30 years of sound development in bilateral relations, we will continue to work with the Korean side to promote trust and cooperation." He also emphasized, "Korea and China are eternal neighbors and strategic cooperative partners," adding, "Through this meeting, both sides agreed to expand exchanges, communicate appropriately, and strengthen trust."

He continued, "In the first half of this year, the Korea-China Future Development Committee was formed to plan a 30-year development blueprint for bilateral relations and deepen practical cooperation," emphasizing, "We must strengthen communication on regional and international issues and ensure that bilateral relations continuously reach new stages."
