[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Jeonnam Yeongam Fire Station (Chief Im Dong-hyun) announced on the 6th that it conducted a joint fire drill centered on the self-defense fire brigade of the COVID-19 vaccination center on the 5th.
The drill, held at the Yeongam-gun Indoor Gymnasium to ensure smooth response during disaster situations such as fires, was jointly conducted with the participation of various agencies including Yeongam County Office, Public Health Center, and Police Station.
The main training contents included selecting fire truck locations and securing routes for dispatch, rescue and emergency response activities in case of multiple casualties, initial fire suppression activities by the self-defense fire brigade, and guiding evacuation of people, conducting an unscripted fire drill assuming an actual fire occurrence.
Chief Im Dong-hyun said, “At this very important vaccination stage to overcome COVID-19, we will establish an organic cooperation system through joint training with related agencies and thoroughly prepare for various disaster situations.”
