Overseas Order Success with 'The Selects'... Major Advertising at New York and Paris Fashion Weeks

The Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) announced on the 6th that it achieved overseas order results last fall and winter through 'The Selects.' The Selects is a global showroom that promotes domestic fashion designer brands to overseas buyers. It operated offline in New York's Soho in 2018 and switched to a hybrid online and offline model last year.


Last fall and winter, nine brands newly joined The Selects. These include EENK, WNDERKAMMER, EYEYE, HANKIM, VERSO, YOUSER, C-ZANNE E, The Studio K, and NEUL. During New York and Paris Fashion Weeks, each brand showcased its unique style, knocking on the doors of the global fashion market.


KOCCA supported their entry through its own platform 'The Selects Market' and the online B2B platform 'Le New Black.' By providing a core buyer network and advertising campaigns, it induced sales of $230,000, double the amount from the same period last year. KOCCA stated, "Advertisements featuring models Sasha Luss and Park Hee-jung were displayed on Times Square's Thomson Reuters and Nasdaq billboards during New York Fashion Week. Outdoor advertisements using brand-specific campaign cuts during Paris Fashion Week also received positive responses."

Last month, KOCCA also set up a virtual showroom in Seoul and held global PR showcases. While attracting domestic retailers such as Boon the Shop and department stores, it connected overseas collection pitching and sales meetings via video calls. Lee Hyun-joo, head of KOCCA's Popular Culture Division, said, "We will continue to support excellent domestic fashion designers and brands to expand globally and elevate the status of K-fashion."
