[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] Namwon City in Jeonbuk announced on the 5th that the Social Economy Team of the Job Economy Division has been selected for the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's '2021 Social Economy Collaboration System Establishment Project,' securing a total budget of 100 million KRW.
With the project, planned to include a social economy expo and the production of detailed pages for the online mall of social economy enterprises, being selected as a Ministry of the Interior and Safety project, the city will be able to hold the social economy expo in November.
Additionally, the selected project for producing detailed pages for the online mall is expected to greatly contribute to securing online sales channels, a long-standing challenge for social economy enterprises.
The online mall detailed page production support project, initiated from the recognition that producing detailed pages is essential for social enterprises, which face limitations in securing offline sales channels, to find a breakthrough in online sales, is expected to inject new vitality into promoting product sales of Namwon City's social economy enterprises.
The Social Economy Team of the Job Economy Division additionally secured a budget of 50 million KRW for the 'Namwon City Social Economy Basic Plan Establishment Project' as part of Jeonbuk Province's regional specialization projects.
Following being the only project in Jeonbuk selected for the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's public contest, the recent selection for the regional specialization project has turned the green light on the promotion of social economy revitalization projects in Namwon City.
The 'Namwon City Social Economy Basic Plan Establishment Project' was planned to lay the foundation for implementing region-customized policies through diagnosing the current status of the social economy in Namwon City and investigating the ecosystem.
