[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Park Su-hong's older brother, who is accused of embezzling the broadcaster's appearance fees and contract money over 30 years, is engaged in a mudslinging fight, even mentioning his younger brother's girlfriend.

On the 4th, Park Su-hong's older brother, Park Mo, CEO of Mediaboom Entertainment, claimed in an interview with Star News that the conflict with Park Su-hong arose during the process of introducing his girlfriend to the family.

According to CEO Park, Park Su-hong tried to introduce his girlfriend, born in 1993, to the family during last year's Lunar New Year holiday, but when the meeting did not take place due to various circumstances, he became estranged from the family starting in June last year.

Also, the registered owner of the apartment in Sangam-dong where Park Su-hong resides is a woman born in 1993. This apartment was originally registered under Park Su-hong and his mother, Ji In-sook, but the ownership was changed to Park Su-hong's girlfriend in September last year.

The house was built for the purpose of a silver town, and Mrs. Ji held a 5% stake, sharing ownership with Park Su-hong. However, at Park Su-hong's request and with Mrs. Ji's consent, all shared shares were transferred, the media reported. Mrs. Ji reportedly gave her seal at Park Su-hong's request but did not expect a sale to take place.

CEO Park's side stated that after these events, Park Su-hong took all the corporate bankbooks, and in August last year, he also handed over the digital certificates and OPT cards necessary for transferring funds from the corporate accounts of Lael and Mediaboom Entertainment.

CEO Park said that Park Su-hong also holds the rent bankbook and USB related to transfers for real estate owned under the corporate name of the Lael branch, denying the embezzlement allegations. He also emphasized that the 10 million won recently donated by Park Su-hong to an orphanage was paid from the Lael corporation, expressing that he is struggling under criticism that he accumulated wealth by exploiting his younger brother.

Regarding the controversial commercial property, Park Su-hong's older brother said that he made the contract first and made a prior investment, and that the reason his children each hold a 10% stake was for tax savings.

Meanwhile, Park Su-hong's legal representative announced that they will initiate civil and criminal legal actions regarding the embezzlement allegations against the older brother Park and his wife. CEO Park also announced a counter-response.
