[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Dongyang Life Insurance announced on the 5th that it conducted a campaign to make beaded mask straps for underprivileged children and adolescents.
Employees of Dongyang Life Insurance created about 100 mask straps by weaving beads and delivered them along with cards containing messages of support to the Korean Red Cross. These mask straps will be distributed to underprivileged children and adolescents in the Seoul area.
Additionally, they donated 5,000 masks worth approximately 16 million KRW and 300 hand sanitizers as COVID-19 prevention supplies.
A Dongyang Life Insurance official stated, "There are often cases where masks are lost when temporarily taken off, so we hope the mask straps will help prevent mask loss and COVID-19 infection," and added, "We plan to carry out various sharing activities that can be easily participated in daily life."
