Kumho Tire Launches New Product After 3 Years... All-Season 'Solus TA51'

Strengthening 'Gaseongbi'... Applicable to Most Domestic Vehicle Models

[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Kumho Tire announced on the 5th that it will launch the 'Solus TA51,' an all-season comfort tire. The Solus TA51 is Kumho Tire's first new product in three years.

The Solus TA51 is a product that enhances 'cost-effectiveness (price-to-performance ratio)' by applying an all-season dedicated compound optimized for domestic conditions, while also reducing noise by dispersing noise generated from tire grooves through a dimple design, a 'pattern noise reduction technology.' In addition, using a pattern design analysis system, driving performance and wear performance have been improved.

A Kumho Tire official stated, "The Solus TA51 is a product that allows customers to experience premium-level performance at a reasonable price," adding, "It is the first new product that condenses Kumho Tire's 60 years of technology and opens a new 60 years."

Additionally, the Solus TA51 features maximized tread rigidity to improve braking performance at normal and low temperatures, and enhanced directional stability on snowy roads. Furthermore, from a user convenience perspective, a three-dimensional icon design has been applied to visualize the tread wear status with 'wear monitoring technology.' This is designed to easily identify tire performance degradation or replacement timing.

The sidewall, considered the flower of tire design, features Kumho Tire's first-ever quadrant sidewall design. From a decorative design perspective, a tile shape and traditional patterns borrowed from Korean traditional designs have been applied using a hologram knurling technique, creating a luxurious and sophisticated exterior design.

Moreover, the Solus TA51 lineup consists of a total of 34 sizes ranging from 16 inches to 19 inches, making it compatible with most major vehicle models.

Meanwhile, to commemorate the launch of the Solus TA51, Kumho Tire will hold a gift event for customers who purchase the tire for one month from the 12th of this month to the 11th of next month. Customers who purchase the Solus TA51 at offline stores nationwide will receive a Baedal Minjok coupon pack (KRW 50,000 for 4 tires, KRW 20,000 for 2 tires).
