Without submitting health information, health checkup results, or health checks, customers can apply by disclosing whether they have been hospitalized or undergone surgery within the last 10 years, as well as whether they have been diagnosed with any of the three major diseases, in addition to the existing disclosure items.
For the first time in the industry, a special rider has been established that provides a health checkup voucher (500,000 KRW) for additional examinations or a hypertension and diabetes health management fee (100,000 KRW) if suspected signs of hypertension or diabetes are found in health checkup results.
If customers wish to receive caregiver support due to hospitalization treatment from injury or illness, they can receive support for up to 180 days through the caregiver support hospitalization expense rider. If caregiver support is not desired, the insured amount of this rider will be compensated as caregiver support hospitalization expenses.
Additionally, new coverage has been established for new cancer treatment methods, including specific anticancer hormone drug-approved treatment costs, anticancer proton radiation therapy costs, and anticancer intensity-modulated radiation therapy costs.
The eligible age for subscription is from 10 to 60 years old, and it is possible to subscribe with 10, 20, or 30-year maturity and premium payment periods.
