Binggrae Launches Limited Edition 'Menbung Eossamanco' and 'Jolum Sanyang'


[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] Binggrae has launched a unique ice cream to celebrate April Fool's Day.


'Bungeo Samanco' transforms into a spicy ice cream called ‘Menbung-eo Samanco’ by adding buldak sauce. The product name combines ‘menbung,’ which expresses a state of mental confusion or being dazed, with ‘Bungeo Samanco’ to add a fun twist. Menbung-eo Samanco will be sold in a limited quantity of 1.2 million units.


Heat Hunter now hunts ‘drowsiness’ instead of ‘heat.’ Transformed into an energy drink ice cream called ‘Jol-eum Sanyang,’ it contains 1000mg of taurine, which is similar to the amount of taurine found in a can of energy drink sold on the market.
