Support Fund Plus, 1.8 Million Cumulative Applications on Third Day of Payment

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] The fourth disaster relief fund for small business owners, the Support Fund Plus, recorded 175,497 applications on the third day of reception, the 31st.

The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced that as of 5 PM on the same day, they completed same-day payments totaling 163.3 billion KRW for 108,271 applications received on the third day of the Support Fund Plus.

The Support Fund Plus, which began accepting applications on the 29th, had a cumulative total of 1,808,847 applications and cumulative payments amounting to 3.1276 trillion KRW as of 5 PM on the 31st, according to the Ministry.

Three rapid payments per day continued on the 31st. From April 1 to April 9, the payment schedule will change to twice a day. However, the Ministry explained that if applications are submitted by the morning, payments can be received in the afternoon of the same day.

Meanwhile, 185,000 businesses with multiple eligible recipients can apply and submit applications starting from 6 AM on April 1. Notification messages for application guidance will be sent from 6 AM on April 1 for these businesses.
