[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Boutique hotel L'Escape announced on the 30th that it will newly introduce the 'Discovery of Taste (醉鄕)' package, curated under the theme of 'Korea's Local Alcohol.'

The first series of Discovery of Taste is a collaboration with the traditional liquor brand Boksundoga, known as the 'Dom P?rignon of Makgeolli,' the hotel said. It will be available from April 16 to June 30.

This package proposes a unique local alcohol experience at the hotel, breaking away from the conventional perception of 'hotel = wine.' To enjoy 'chimak' (fried chicken and beer/makgeolli) in the room, it offers Boksundoga Son Makgeolli (935ml) and a Palede Shin pairing TO-GO menu. Boksundoga Son Makgeolli is a hand-brewed raw makgeolli with natural sparkling characteristics and is a best-selling product. The pairing TO-GO menu varies by room type.

Also provided are Boksundoga's facial treatment mask packs containing traditional yeast ingredients and a 20% discount coupon usable at the Boksundoga Music Lounge located on Nodeul Island. For suite rooms, benefits include experiencing cocktails based on traditional yakju at Marc d'Amour by L'amant Secret.

On the hotel's 7th floor, guests can find books curated around local alcohol and culture themes, ceramic works by contemporary ceramic artist Lee Insook, and L'Escape limited edition makgeolli exclusive glasses.

Guests in the Amour room receive Boksundoga Son Makgeolli and the Palede Shin signature Sichuan-style Razzi TO-GO to enjoy with 'chimak.' Two Boksundoga mask packs are also provided. Guests in the Secret room receive Boksundoga Son Makgeolli, a Palede Shin pairing TO-GO 4-item set worth 90,000 KRW (cucumber salad, Sichuan-style Razzi, Neungi mushroom Hongso tofu, flying fish roe crab fried rice), and two Boksundoga mask packs. When staying in the Atelier Suite, guests receive Boksundoga Son Makgeolli, the Palede Shin pairing TO-GO 4-item set, five Boksundoga mask packs, two special cocktails based on Boksundoga yakju at Marc d'Amour by L'amant Secret, breakfast for two at L'amant Secret, one valet parking service, and suite minibar benefits.

The package prices start from 210,000 KRW for Amour, 240,000 KRW for Secret, and 310,000 KRW for Atelier Suite (plus 10% tax). Customers using the package are offered a 50% discount on the L'Escape wine cooler bag, which helps enjoy Boksundoga makgeolli more chilled. For stays from Sunday to Friday in April, the first 30 rooms will receive one L'Escape limited edition local alcohol exclusive glass co-developed with artist Lee Insook (available for separate purchase at the hotel for 55,000 KRW). This package is a limited product and offers a 10% discount when booked directly through the hotel website.
