Jin Air, Super Discount Promotion for First Half of the Year... Round-Trip Gimpo~Jeju from 20,000 KRW

[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Jin Air announced on the 30th that it has opened the 2021 first half-year 'Jin Market,' the biggest discount promotion of the year.

Jin Market will operate for four days from 10 a.m. on this day until April 2. The routes on sale include all domestic routes and seven international routes: Narita, Osaka, Fukuoka, Cebu, Danang, Bangkok, and Guam.

Discounted domestic flight tickets will be sold starting from the lowest round-trip total fare in the 10,000 KRW range for flights operating between April 1 and June 30, and for international flights, tickets will be sold starting from the lowest 80,000 KRW range for flights scheduled between July 1 and October 30. However, some periods such as Chuseok are excluded, and full refunds will be given if flights are canceled.

The lowest round-trip total fares by major routes are ▲Busan~Jeju 19,800 KRW ▲Gwangju~Jeju 21,800 KRW ▲Gimpo~Jeju 25,800 KRW ▲Gimpo~Yeosu 33,800 KRW ▲Gimpo~Ulsan 41,800 KRW ▲Incheon~Narita 126,000 KRW ▲Incheon~Fukuoka 88,600 KRW ▲Incheon~Cebu 149,900 KRW ▲Incheon~Danang 153,000 KRW ▲Incheon~Guam 167,000 KRW and up.

Flight tickets can be booked through the Jin Air website and mobile web/app, and the total fare may change depending on the booking time due to fluctuations in airport taxes and fuel surcharges caused by exchange rates. Basic services such as free checked baggage of 15kg and free in-flight meals (for international flights) are included even with discounted tickets.

On April 1 only, domestic flight tickets will be available at uniform prices. Depending on the route, limited discounted one-way fares of ▲4,700 KRW ▲5,700 KRW ▲9,700 KRW will be sold.

Considering the COVID-19 situation, reservation change and refund fees for international flights will be waived. Reservation changes can be made once up to 24 hours before the initial departure, and refunds are possible until June 30.

Additionally, infant fare benefits will be provided to children born in 2019 who could not receive infant discounts last year due to difficulties in overseas travel, and a 10,000 KRW discount coupon on airfare will be sold at 100 KRW, a 99% discount, at Jin Air’s online shopping mall, Jinis Store.

There are also various partnership benefits for payment and accommodation. When paying with Smile Pay, a 10% immediate discount and 0.3% cashback are provided on the first payment, and 30,000 KRW and 10,000 KRW discount coupons usable with Hana Card payment are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Also, when booking domestic hotels through HotelsCombined, customers can earn up to 8% Naver Points.

In addition, mobile app-exclusive 10% immediate discount events on airfare and SNS sharing events are being held, and more detailed information can be found on the Jin Air website.

Jin Air said, “Along with discounted tickets, we have prepared events that reduce the burden of purchase, such as fee waivers and discounts for children born in 2019.”
