Namsoo Lee, a researcher at Kiwoom Securities, explained, "WI has gained recognition for quality by collaborating with domestic and international IPs such as Kakao Friends, Pengsoo, and Mercedes-Benz," adding, "Recently, after securing the licensing rights for Pinkfong Baby Shark products, they targeted LCK as well, acquiring IPs capable of global targeting."
He continued, "Business collaborations with companies owning original IPs are expected to increase," and predicted, "The character product lineup will enable various collaborations utilizing game characters and narratives, leading to steady growth through high IP awareness and publicity."
The researcher expressed expectations, saying, "The licensing master agency structure with LCK can target overseas markets beyond Korea, based on the popularity of LoL, a globally popular IP, and the loyalty of highly engaged game users."
He also emphasized, "Through operating the LCK store, it is possible to expand from lifestyle products recognized for their competitiveness to PC peripherals targeting game users, as well as to all product areas that can utilize the LCK brand."
