[Asia Economy Reporter Hana Na] A reckless Mercedes driver who stopped her car on the road and filmed the surrounding scenery with her cellphone faced public backlash.

On the 25th, a 2-minute 44-second video titled "Reckless Mercedes Woman on Geoga Bridge" was uploaded to the YouTube channel Han Moon-cheol TV. The informant stated, "This is a dashcam video filmed around 2 p.m. on the 23rd," adding, "The speed limit on this road section is 80 km/h, and my speed was about 70 km/h."

The video shows a truck suddenly changing lanes behind the Mercedes stopped in the second lane. The dashcam also captured a woman who had parked the Mercedes in the two-lane road without a shoulder and was taking photos of the sea view.

The informant said, "The truck cut into the first lane where I was driving, so I braked and looked to the second lane, thinking there was construction. But I saw a Mercedes C-Class parked there, and a woman had gotten out to take pictures of the sea view. I was speechless."

He continued, "I can't understand how someone can park a car on a two-lane road without a shoulder where there is section speed enforcement and calmly take photos like that," adding, "Other vehicles had to avoid the woman or stop forcibly, but she was completely absorbed in taking pictures of the blue sea."

Netizens who saw this expressed anger, saying, "Don't kill innocent people, don't hold the steering wheel," "Report her and punish her," and "Ignorance is boldness."
