EDGC Obtains Patent for Animal Individual Identification Using Single Nucleotide Polymorphism Markers

[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] EDGC announced on the 26th that it has acquired a patent for the "Animal Individual Identification Method Using Single Nucleotide Polymorphism Markers."


The company stated, "According to this patent, by using SNP markers and their combinations, the target individual can be accurately distinguished and identified from other individuals, making it very useful for pet dog individual identification and history management," adding, "We plan to utilize this for the future sale of pet dog individual identification genetic testing products."
